Job Description

As an infrastructure architect, you will be a key person in realizing Region Östergötland's IT solutions within system development and integration. You will work based on the needs of the business, existing services, and future requirements — ensuring that our technical solutions are both stable and ready for upcoming strategic shifts.

You will operate from three perspectives:

• National level: participate in national collaboration, interpret guidelines, and contribute to common standards.
• Regional level: translate digital strategies into long-term sustainable architecture.
• Local level: develop working methods and support deliveries with high quality, while ensuring compliance with digital strategies.

In your role, you will among other things:

• Describe, visualize, and communicate complex contexts within integration and infrastructure.
• Develop and document sustainable, scalable, and maintainable solution proposals. Initiate and lead objective discussions about technology choices, realization options, and architectural principles.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and national actors on integration solutions.
• Act as a requirements analyst in the integration area.
• Further develop processes, routines, and tools together with the team.
• Ensure that guidelines, regulations, and architectural frameworks are followed.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Broad and deep technical competence in IT, including necessary tools and frameworks.
• Documented experience in the integration area — preferably from architecture, development, and operations.
• Experience with common integration platforms; merit with competence in BizTalk, MuleSoft, SSIS, SOA, or cloud-based integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, realization options, and technical system design.
• Experience in system analysis, quality assurance, and working in complex IT environments.
• Merit: experience in API Management, requirements management, and evaluation of integration products.
• Merit: experience in the public sector, healthcare, or integration standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM. Relevant higher education or equivalent experience.
